Pupils at the St. Aloysius School in Jackson held their second Gator Swamp Stomp and raised money for the Special Olympics. More than $4,500 was raised by the school community and 25 cents of every dollar was set aside for Special Olympics.

One of the most eagerly-anticipated events at the annual Christmas Stroll is the "Polar Plunge," and this year Heath Heggem, Katie Stukey, and Matt Austin will brave the frigid waters to raise money for Special Olympics Montana.

Howard McMillan Middle School students De'ante Johnson, Alexander Soler, Danny Rodriguez, Arica Silverman, Arianna Rodriguez and Christa Cooper recently represented Miami-Dade County at the Softball Individual Skills Special Olympics and State Fall Classic at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando Oct. 31-Nov. 1. Uniforms were donated by Kings Bay Athletics.
